NOTE: Psychotherapy is now tax-free! As of June 22, 2024, fees for psychotherapy services at Building Momentum Psychotherapy are without HST.
Rates
- Standard Rate: $140 per 50-minute session
- Free 15-minute phone consults
Insurance
If you have a health insurance provider, it is possible for services to be covered in full or in part. Please check with your insurance provider to see if your plan covers psychotherapy services by a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying).
I do not offer direct billing at this time, but I try to ensure that your receipts have all the information you need to make a claim with your insurance provider.
Note about claiming online with Canada Life: Instead of choosing the Psychotherapist category (which requires a full address and postal code), choose the Other Claims and Estimates category because Building Momentum Psychotherapy is mainly a virtual practice without a public address. This will ensure the claim does not get rejected for missing the business address and postal code.
Payment
Payments can be made:
- Online by credit card through the Jane booking and clinic management system. Your card information can be added and stored securely in the system, and payments are processed after each session
- By e-transfer to paymentsbmpsychotherapy@gmail.com after each session
- Receipts will be emailed to you at the email address on file in the Jane system
